Wedding Photography Made Easy: What You Need to Get Started
After completing the get started form, we send you an email for you to confirm your email address. Once you confirm your email address, we create your WeddingPixie account and send you an email with 'All you need to get started' to collect guest photos and videos.
The 'All you need to get started' email includes:
- Your unique upload link
- Your unique QR code
- A link to your realtime wedding album
- A link to your WeddingPixie account login page
The email will be from weddingpixie.com and will be sent to the email address you provided when you completed the get started form.
Share with your guests
When you create a WeddingPixie account, we create a unique photo and video upload page for you. Guests can upload the wedding photographs and videos they take on your wedding day on this web page.
You can share your unique upload link with your guests in your digital wedding invitation, via email or text message. Your guests can then use this link to upload their photos and videos to your WeddingPixie real-time wedding album.
We include this in the email to make it easy for you to forward the upload page link to your guests. We suggest you share this link on your wedding whatsapp group, and with your bridesmaids, groomsmen and family and encourage them to share the link with your guests.
Wedding Photo QR Code
We also create a unique Wedding QR Code for you. You can forward your unique QR code to your wedding venue so they can print it on your menus and seating plan. You can forward the QR Code to your printers to include on your wedding stationary and table cards.
Your guests scan your Wedding QR code with their smartphones to access your unique WeddingPixie.com upload page and upload their photos and videos.
Wedding Photo Album
When your guests upload their photos and videos, they will appear in your WeddingPixie photo album in real-time. The Wedding photos and videos uploaded by your wedding guests will be organised and ordered by your wedding day timeline. You avoid photo chaos because the photos and videos are organised by your wedding timeline. You photos and videos are beautifully presented. You can easily find the photos and videos you want to see. You can view your wedding album on your phone, tablet or laptop.
You can view and download the high-resolution photos uploaded by your guests to your phone or laptop from the wedding album.
You might want to share your album with friends and family who could not make it to your wedding.
Download your photos and videos
We recommend that you download the high-resolution photos uploaded by your guests to your phone or laptop so that you keep them safe and have them forever. You can save them on your phone, laptop, or tablet. The photos remain organised by your day’s timeline.
A couple of weeks after your wedding, we will send you an email to let you know that your guest photos and videos are ready. We wait a couple of weeks to give your wedding guests time to upload the wedding photographs and wedding videos they took on your wedding day. The email will include a link to a zip file containing all your photos and videos. The zip file will be available to download for 5 days. If you don't download the zip file within 5 days, we will send you a reminder email. If you miss that. No problem, you can download your photos and videos from your WeddingPixie account.
We hold onto your photos and videos for 12 months after your wedding day. You can download them at any time during this period.
